Gas Network - Inground Team (NCO1/NCO2)

We're looking for an experienced Gas Network Inground Team to safely deliver gas mains and riser service installation/replacements on the UK’s Gas Networks in London and the South East.
What you’ll be doing:
- Inground gas service and main replacement
- New and altered connections
- Meterbank replacement and upgrades
- Gas riser replacement in multi-occupancy / high-rise buildings
- Ongoing programme across occupied and void properties
Locations: London, the South East and East Anglia. Travel between sites required; a mix of highway, private land and internal riser work.
What we're looking for:
- SCO (Safe Control of Operations) status - required
- Relevant mainlaying / service laying competencies - NCO1 as a minimum for the network operations role
- PE pipe jointing (electrofusion / butt fusion) - essential for mainlaying
- EUSR SHEA Gas
- NRSWA / Streetworks card (operative or supervisor)
- CSCS card
- Confined space and working-at-height / PASMA for riser work (desirable to essential depending on role)
- Asbestos awareness (older multi-occupancy stock)
- Excavator and dumper tickets (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

- PAYE: NCO1 £30k-£34k · Service Layer £38k-£45k · Main Layer £44k-£50k (plus van, fuel and overtime)
- Day rate (subcontract): NCO1 £130-£150 · Service Layer £180-£210 · Main Layer £220-£250 · full gangs £400
